Forever Fourteen PYMF-026
2 Minute Preview

Synopsis:

On a winter morning in 1987, 14-year-old Wendy Osborn was raped and murdered as she walked to school. Her killer was never identified. The following year, Kelly St. John was also raped, but she survived. With Kelly’s help, police were able to find and arrest her attacker. It took nearly a decade before it was discovered that this young man was also responsible for Wendy’s tragic rape and murder.

Forever Fourteen is a documentary produced by Kelly St. John, honoring Wendy’s memory by looking back on this tragedy through interviews with both her parents and Wendy’s, home video footage and her own recollections. It explores the events leading up to both attacks, the aftermath, and the two families’ ultimate acceptance of what happened. It is a story of caution and regret, and of empowerment and remembrance, offering a hard but important lesson for children and parents alike.
